Gary and his team have recently overhauled the entire exterior of our home. His workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. He is very experienced and explains thoroughly, in layman's terms, the problems and exactly how he will address them, instilling us with complete confidence. He also went out of his way to correct problems as they arose which fell outside of the original remit. Gary's was not the cheapest quote, but the quality of the workmanship made him worth every penny. We would highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.

This is the second job that Gary and his team have done for me - and yet again they were superb. Gary's preparation work is second to none - his two apprentices Simon and Aaron could not have a better tutor. Gary is so conscientious that he even came to finish the job having spent a night at the hospital with one of his daughters "because he had promised me he would be finished". A real gentleman.

I am somewhat disappointed with this customers comment and scores, as I strive for complete customer satisfaction. I charged the customer exactly what I had originally quoted, I left the property clean and tidy, kept to a tight schedule and was always polite and helpful. This customer gave me no reason to think that they were not 100% happy with the finished job, and had they had any concerns at all, I would have been only too happy to discuss this with them.

I can safely say that this firm is a true find! “Captain” (Gary) Cook and team have very recently (late October 2009) completed a full overhaul of the front of my house, plinths, filling, paint and sash windows including draft full proofing of the sash windows, front door and replacing gutters. He assured me he could tackle our sash windows where others just wanted to replace them at considerable cost; this was one of my primary objectives. Never short of ideas, on time, extremely tidy in side and out. They were well presented at all times; the team observe health and safety practices normal reserved for larger firms. He respected not only our property during their time with us but also our space which is important when you have to spend two weeks in close contact with people you don’t really know. The work was estimated at two weeks and he was spot on. Their preparation prior to panting in all seriousness justified the price tag and means unlike some, the job done should last some considerable time, and it was a pleasure to see people that took such a pride in their work. Would I recommend the “Captain Cook”…definitely! Thanks for a good job.

If you are looking for a quick, OK job then Gary, Sam and Roger are not your people. What perfectionists they are! I cannot praise the quality of their workmanship highly enough. They are hard working, trustworthy, totally respectful of your home and will always go the extra mile. We have had many so called tradesman/specialists doing work at our house over the years, and I can truly say that we have never ever come across such an honest and hardworking pair of guys. Gary and Roger would always turn up on time, respect your house by good personal manors such as taking off shoes etc, and on one day they even both worked a full 12 hours to finish the job!!!! Totally amazing guys who manage to give you faith, that true specialist do exist out there. I highly recommend these guys to anyone, and assure you that you will not find a better finish than what these guys can produce, and believe me when I say that I am a hard man to please. Gary and Roger are not like the normal lazy workmen that most people are used to, instead they are refreshingly hard working. They stay on site all the time and have a sandwich by the van, oh and they love a cup of Tea. To conclude, you will not find anyone as friendly as these guys, and the quality of their work truly has to be seen to be believed. Gary and Roger the best decorators in the business. Period.
