David arrived spot on time, was a pleasure to deal with being clean, presentable, intelligent, pleasant and extremely conscientious, in fact he was a breath of fresh air and reminded me that there are still top class British tradesmen out there who can show the rest how to do it. He fitted aerial etc, then checked signal strength on his very expensive kit. He then checked all aerial connections inside the house before declaring himself satisfied. David was very knowledgeable, confident and professional in his work. He was honest and not out to incur more cost to me than necessary. However, I insisted on changing everything new as the TV aerial and booster was more than 20 years old and the reception was poor in the front bedroom. The reception now is very good and sharp in every room. FM reception is also very good. His workmanship was very good, neat, leaving no mess in the house and gave helpful advice. He also explained what he was going to do and the aims/objectives in its outcome. The charges were very reasonable and he spent over four hours due to the number of sockets and work involved. I am very pleased with his high quality of work and have since found out from my neighbours that he installed the full aerial and FM system for a block of private flats (near my house) who are very pleased with his workmanship and now enjoy very good TV and aerial reception.

The work was carried out to a very high standard. David began by working out how the existing aerial system was wired, and why it wasn't working. The dodgy piece of cable connection stuffed under a roof tile could have had something to do with it, as could a number of other points! David removed one useless aerial from the roof, ran a new cable from the other one, down the wall, through a new hole into the living room and connected it up to a new wall plate and socket. He helped with re-tuning the Freeview box and made sure it was all set up correctly. All work is very neat and professional, and it is all working well.

David arrived on time and we discussed the options, either a roof aerial or one attached to the side of the house. I liked the idea of a side attachment so David ran some signal strength tests first, which proved very strong, and within a few hours the TV was up and running. The workmanship was second to none, I would highly recommend Ickenham Aerials to anyone and would definitely use their services again.

David arrived on time, the job took less time than he advised on the phone and the price was as we agreed. Two of my already installed TV points needed to be changed from isolated to non isolated which David had in his van, I then enquired about 'magic eyes' and David also had these in the van even though I hadn't discussed this with him in advance. David tested the existing aerial before starting and tested the new points upon completion. I needed some assistance with tuning(nothing to do with David's work), a few days after the work was done and David was happy to guide me through this on the phone. More than happy to recommend and would certainly use again.

Due to their local knowledge they had a good idea of the problem before even turning up (TV reception issues in Harrow) so provided a probable solution and approximate cost on the spot. Turned up nice and early, did the work well (even keeping our very particular adjoining neighbour happy) and we have had a great TV reception ever since. Communication couldn't be faulted and I would definitely recommend and use again, although hopefully in the current property this won't be necessary!

Everything done properly with attention to detail. Old aerial removed quickly without fuss. New aerial and mast prepared and mounted with care and attention to property. Work at height carried out with good observation of health and safety. New coax cable from aerial terminated with distribution block in loft as requested (for my own distribution plans). Quality and strength of signal all checked and a job well done. Textbook. Couldn't ask for better workmanship. A supplemental note: I was expecting the new aerial to be monster size as I live in a poor reception area (HA4). However, the replacement was actually smaller than the old one. Skeptical at fist but convinced otherwise later when David showed me the signal strength on his spectrum analyser. Bigger ain't always better - it's horses for courses. There are different types of aerials for different areas and David knows his trade so trust what he says! Not only have I got the HD channels back but all done without a whopping big mast for the neighbours to moan about! Recommended without hesitation.
