Did a very good job and paid particularly good attention to the detail of the work and it was finished to a high standard. James' guys were great - turned up on time, very tidy, protecting and cleaning the route through the house, and their work was of excellent quality - they clearly know what they are about. James' input into the design was fantastic - it looked so much better than I had expected. From the first call, James stood out from the other potential suppliers; his courtesy, prompt responses and creative and engaged approach was refreshing. I was able to have sensible and helpful discussions with James on all aspects of the work, materials etc in order to get my desired result on budget. James maintained excellent communication at every stage of the job and we discussed all aspects of the work. The attention to detail that James and his team give to the finish is second to none; the smallest details from the of the way the rope edging is cut to the fine details of the tile pathway are superb. I am simply delighted with every aspect of the finished work. I would not hesitate to recommend James - and have in fact already done so.

James' work is of outstanding quality, from start to finish. During the initial meeting, James spent a great deal of time in understanding my requirements, and adding his own suggestions backed up by an impressive portfolio of previous work. The quote arrived promptly, and the subject of money was, once agreed, thereafter not discussed again. The job started on time, and in line with expectations set. Once underway, the work proceeded at a remarkable pace - unlike many tradesmen James and his team really graft, starting early and often working well into the evening. The finished product is of exceptional quality - James has that much sought-after craftsman sense of taking extraordinary pride in his work. Kept us well informed at all stages, especially when it came to a decision regarding costs, that had to change from the original quote, due to pipe work issues underground. Good time keeping when on site, also advised how many workmen would be there the next day. Kept to their agreement, that once the job was started, that they would not start another job until ours was finished, not something you see nowadays!! FANTASTIC! Couldn't of asked for better. Our garden and driveway now looks fab. As for the workmanship, it's 2nd to none. The lads are very hardworking and nothing phases them... even a change of design! They are polite and courteous and, as workmen go, a pleasure to have around. They kept the place clean and are very concientous. Nothing is too much trouble. The work carried out was expected to take around 4 weeks, however it was all finished within 3. We have 2 (mad!) dogs and the lads were very accommodating and patient with them, also keeping an eye on the dogs if they were out in the garden. As for the price, we found Jim very reasonable. We decided on some different things that were not originally quoted for and found the re-pricing very reasonable too. I have already, and will not hesitate to again, recommend Jim and his workforce to anyone. Thank you lads.....

What can I say but wow, James has done a fantastic job, and my garden has been totally transformed . I had used James before in my previous house and his work is second to none.
