Plumbing work.
First class. He works as if it is his own home. He is clean and tidy and not a "jobsworth". He does the the job by the book with no short cuts. He is a thinker but also realistic and practical. He will endevour, where practical, to do the job the way the client wants. He works for and with the client. He is a very nice chap. This trader was recommended to me, as I am new to the area. I would not hesitate to underwrite their work to anyone.

Replace heat exchanger on boilermate 2000
I described the symptoms to Pete (luke warm instead of hot water despite recently replacing sensors) and he guided me through some checks I could do myself and then diagnosed the problem as needing a replacement heat exchanger (which was 7 yrs old and in a very hard water area). He also predicted the hot water flow would increase when the exchanger was replaced and sure enough, 2 hrs work later, piping hot water and now as fast as the cold water for the first time since we moved in 3 yrs ago. Would definitely recommend him and use again. Worth the wait (< 1 week in this case) if not immediately available.

Replaced sensors on Boilermate thermal store
Highly recommended.  Does exactly what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, for the amount he estimates. Specifically, I needed two sensors replacing on a Boilermate 2000 and Pete did this in just less than 2 hours.  Both sensors now working.
