Mark Oliver has serviced our boiler for the last 4 years. This is the first time we have had a problem and he came out within 36 hours of reporting it to him and did the necessary repair. An unrelated minor oil leak was also noticed and stopped. His account was very reasonable when he has to travel some distance and with two people working.

Called this plumber out at short notice over the weekend. Within two hours of the call Mark Oliver was at our home. We live out in the country and it was really very cold, with loads of snow on the roads. We had no heating or hot water. We have three small children and I was worried we would have no heating over Christmas. Within a hour of Marks' arrival the boiler was working again, I cannot thank him enough, a really professional job and at a sensible price too. Will recommend this company to all my friends and neighbours.

He would not call us back for three days and was then unhelpful about fixing Aga trader said he just services, although at the start of the work it was clear that it needed a repair. He was civil whilst on site during job.

Mr Howes said that his Aga required a service we attended the clients property at short notice the service was carried out, in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. The service documents were completed and I pointed out that the control on the Aga was old and the oil tank required replacing due to its age. Mrs Howes signed the service document, to say that she was happy with the service, I left the Aga working. A few days later I received a call from Mr Howes saying that Aga had initially got hot, it was now loosing temperature. I said I did not know what the problem was and said that I was that busy I would not be able to attend immediately and I could however provide him with an alternative number of a Colleague also from CAT. The client said he would make his own arrangements and I heard nothing else. We take all complaints very seriously and if the client was not happy with the service provided; I would refund their payment, less any materials used.

Initial work carried out on below date but not long after an unrelated problem needed attention it was a busy time just before Christmas but Mark Oliver managed to repair the boiler ensuring we didn't freeze over the holiday period ( we are now 9/02/2011 - I have been intending to give this feedback for some time !) and there have been no further problems.

They responded to our phone call within 2 hours and came out on an emergency visit. An hour later. They then phoned a week later to book a date and time for a service. They reported clearly about the work done and the condition of the boiler. They appeared to work cleanly and efficiently. Prices seem very fair. No apparent problems so far!

Asked for new oil gauge and he quoted a price which we accepted, he did not fit a new gauge but just replaced plastic tube. I spoke to him afterwards he said he would refund the money that was on 7th October.

A confirmation email was provided and outlined the repairs that would be made. Replacing the plastic sight gauge {plastic tube}. This was confirmed by the client via an email as being acceptable. On this occasion I feel that there was a lack of communication on the parts that the client thought were going to be replaced. I was not aware that the entire valve required replacing and this had not been explained prior to arrival. My arrival time was confirmed as 10am, I arrived at 09.30 am. I always use a dust sheet and Hoover up any mess made. I feel we are always courteous in customer’s homes, wear suitable over shoes to protect carpets and strive to provide helpful advice and information. Our workmanship is of high quality and I always provide the best materials where possible. A refund has been made to the customer.

This was a relatively small job but critical as my wife could not leave hospital until the heating / hot water was fixed. Mark responded quickly to my call, agreed to call the next day, called me to inform me he would be 30 minutes later than arranged and when he arrived he quickly sorted the problem, identified another issue with the flue and fixed that too. He and Katie were honest, courteous efficient and very reasonably priced.
