Remove window and insert double glazed PCVu French door set, heating changes and creation of step to garden, building control notification.
I highly recommend Parkinson Restoration Ltd.  We had a few quotes from various builders but Mike Parkinson was competitive and incredibly reliable. It was great having someone who arrived when he said he would and was willing to discuss the work as well as provide some invaluable advice.  He provided a detailed quote which I appreciated. His team started exactly when they were supposed and their time keeping was excellent.  They made every effort to keep things tidy but most of all they did a very good job of the doors and stairs. They were also very patient with my 3 year old boy who wanted to help them!  All in all an excellent job.

Add 25 down lights across 4 rooms, making good for painting and full testing.
I have to say this is one of the BEST people and electrician I came across in this country!  I am very, very please with the work that they have done. First of all, quotation of the work is very accurate! They done what they have said on the paper.  So I don't need to worry about unexpected cost at the end of the job. Second, they show up on time on site everyday and clean up everyday before they leave the site. Also, Mike would phone me personally every night to make sure everything is working as expected and I am happy with the work and progress. Third, not only they listen to where I would like to put the down lights, they also give valuable input based on their experience which came out beautifully. Fourth, there are many areas they can cut corner since I don't have any knowledge of electrical work.  For e.g. Running wires thru the joints are very time consuming.  They could have done that without me even notice. But people from Parkinson choose to make sure all wires that they run are following the regulation.  Last but not least, testing took almost one day. I was so impressed the time that they put in to make sure every single light in the ceiling is correctly wired. I had bad experienced with other electrician.  Either they did half of the job, cut corner or it costs more than on paper. People from Parkinson are well over my expectation.  I am very please with them. They are truly professional team of people.  I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends. They might be a little bit more expensive than other quote, but this is money well spend and a peace of mind for reliable people and work.  Mike, you can use me as reference anytime you like. Very pleased with the results. Have only marked 'quality of workmanship' down because of some damage caused to a window frame during plastering. It's important to note that this damage was immediately fixed by Mike and team when asked.

Replace vented hot water cylinder with new mains pressure bigger system, changed cold also to mains pressure
The guys turned up when they said they would and completed the work in the specified time frame. Really pleased with the new heating system and pressure achieved. Recommendations of what products to use and the direction to go in greatly appreciated (and turned out to be spot on). Would highly recommend.
