Replaced work top, cupboard and drawer fronts and tiling.
On day one I found that the trader had left our premises without reinstating the hot water so we were unable to have a shower. The electrics on the gas hob was not re-connected we found out when we went to use the appliance later in the evening. The central heating control panel had to be completely replaced due to water leaking from the condenser pipe on to the electrics. We had a query over a loose wire that we bought to the trader attention to be informed by the trader that it was already loose. In my opinion I felt that we received a poor service even though he gave us the impression that he was very skilled.

In response to the customers comments above, I feel that I strongly disagree with their comments. The customer mentioned that I had not re-instated the hot water. The customer contacted me that evening, but unfortunately, I was out and did not receive the message until 8am the following morning as I was leaving to return to their house. I would have re-instated the hot water immediately on my arrival but the customer decided to contact another trader the same evening without giving me the opportunity to resolve this, which I paid for out of goodwill. The gas hob was useable, but the spark igniter did not have a plug on, this was on the to do list, the customer however, was able to light the hob with a match. The customer queried a loose wire which I disturbed whist tiling behind the boiler control panel, I did not know where the wire had come from so contracted an electrician at my expense to fix the problem, unfortunately he could not work out the wire position either and on further inspection pointed out that other wires were loose as a result of the original installation, he recommended that the plumber who installed the boiler be contacted to do the repair as he would have a better understanding of how he wired it. I also paid the plumber to do this work. I feel that I have carried out this work to my normal high standards and addressed any queries they had immediately. I feel very unhappy at their scores and comments given and would ask people to read my many other positive recommendations given by my customers.
