Membership Levels

Level One membership includes a full listing on our web site and referrals from our Trade Appraisal Line. Members receive unlimited customer feedback cards to give to customers, and a generous marketing pack of stickers and certificates. They also receive automated monitoring reports by email.

Level Two membership, in addition to the above, includes wider exposure through an entry in our printed guides - 3.7 million copies distributed each year.

Members will not be given full ‘recommended, vetted and monitored’ status with Checkatrade until we have received at least five feedback cards from their customers. It is made clear to the consumer that members lacking this status have just joined.

Membership is for twelve months and is to be renewed annually.

What you get

Level two members get entry into our locally distributed, full-colour guides. They are delivered by Royal Mail to over 3.7 million homes every year, and are available locally in major supermarkets.

These guides are published when we have enough trades and services in a particular area to warrant the publicity. Those interested in being in our guides will take membership at level one initially. When enough interest has been registered in that area for a guide to be printed they will be contacted.

Consumers come to Checkatrade to find a tradesman. Your business will be listed in our search results, and you can also use your Checkatrade monitoring page as a free web page. Your page will have a unique and memorable address e.g. www.checkatrade.com/bobthebuilder

Our ‘check us out’ stickers can be attached to estimates, letterheads, business cards and other stationery. They offer your customer an opportunity to call Checkatrade for an up to date appraisal to see that you are trustworthy. Colour, glossy, 30x25mm.

These certificates can be given out with your estimates and are personalised to show that you are an active member of Checkatrade. Colour, card, A4 size, prepaid.

With ‘Checkatrade’ on your vehicle the public know instantly you can be trusted. Designed in three sizes, the smallest for internal windows and the larger ones for external bodywork.

Personalised with your name and contact details, members give them to customers to stick on their telephone directories. Next time customers need another service they know who to call.

Our prepaid, addressed and ready-to-return feedback forms for your customers. To be given to the customer at the start of any job.

All genuine feedback we receive from your customers will be sent to you in a detailed email.
