We all know the jingle, and the Checkatrade brand is a household name, but many people still don’t know why Checkatrade is the best place to find a trade or service for the job they need, so we’re on a mission to turn this around!

Our advertising works hard to convey to customers all the vetting and checks we complete on every member before we list them on our site.

The more we talk to customers about our network of over 36,000 checked and recommended trades the more enquiries our members will receive. Our approach gives our trades all the benefits of a national advertising platform thanks to our TV and Radio sponsorships, plus digital and social media content.

We help you to grow your reputation through word-of-mouth – amplified through our continual marketing on this site and in printed guides.

All this helps makes Checkatrade the place customers go to find great trades, and the place trades go to be found by great customers.

Our current campaign:

We have created brand-new fast-paced comedic TV advert to bring focus to and highlight the 14 checks that we undertake before any trade is listed on our site. Of course our famous jingle is front and centre, with the stars of the spot singing a brand-new updated version.

The campaign was specifically designed to drive fame and build trust for the brand by effectively communicating the work we do and the business we have created and been market leader of in since 1998.

Did you know that we carry out up to 14 checks on trades so that consumers don’t have to? All these checks and our ongoing monitoring offers peace of mind and trust which is what we want to highlight in our new marketing campaign. The advert allows us to own what we do, in a way that only we can. Because no-one checks trades like Checkatrade.

We’re also extending our regional TV trials which began earlier in the year. The fully integrated campaign will specifically run across TV, digital, radio and social media from October 7th and the message will be consistent throughout our marketing and comms from 2019 and beyond.

You can see our advert below and on ITV in the North West, North East, Central and West plus parts of the South and Greater London on ITV from 7th October, as well as lots activity more on digital, social media and email.

We've also:

  • Renewed our sponsorship of ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show until the end of the year
  • Secured a 12-month TV sponsorship on Homes and Really channels
  • Extended our relationship with Talksport
