“I was quoted £170 to remove and fit a new radiator that was 2cm bigger than the one replaced. The excuses given to inflate the original price from £170 + VAT to £340 plus Vat were poor. I was told the plaster on the wall wasn't good. Basically took 3 hours to hang the radiator on a wall with plaster issues. Even though the brackets are hidden behind the radiator. The final price was not agreed at all. The invoice was made without any notice. I wouldn't trust this man ever again and I advise others to be extremely careful when employing him. Disgusted at the final costs of over £41”

Response from Allerco Plumbing and Heating:
An estimate was given over the phone to the client & met his tenants on arrival. This was not made clear to me prior to arrival. The property is on the 4th floor with the lift in constant use & where the tenants had no parking permits for after set time. On information from the landlord(client) parking was obtained at homebase opposite & where short of staff waiting times was long. 3visit was made 1. parking 2. to souse materials. The replacement of a bathroom radiator in this case was difficult to replace as the landlord had not carried out any maintenance to the wall since purchase from the council & as shown to the tenant the wall was just weak & turning to powder. 2attempts was made to secure the radiator to the wall with the tenants advised. The Job took 3hrs 45mins to complete & was charged accordingly.
It is unfair to leave bad review if you do-not keep-up the maintenance on your property. Our aim is to complete the job as quickly & as cheaply as possible.
