Response from Avon Exteriors:
This is a flat roof in a block of shops which are all linked and except for one we're all in a bad state of repair.
I done another job for this customer with no complaints. He then asked me to look at the main roof which was old and deteriorated and one of 9 roofs. I took photos to show him. I also explained that with linked roofs that water can get in somewhere and travel to its lowest point and get in there and that the only way to guarantee that no water would get in is if all the roofs are renewed. I then told him that I could recover his roof so that no water would get in from his area which I did and have been back several times to check the work I done was ok. I’ve shown the customer photos of the roofs next to his where the water is getting in but his neighbours aren't interested. I feel sorry for the customer as he is not able to go onto the roof and see for himself but without the willingness of his neighbours to sort their roofs out there's not much else I can do.
