“They came to clear my gutters as they weren't draining properly. On confirming the job, their email stated: "On our teams completion of work at your property, your guttering and down pipes will be leak free, draining correctly and covered by our 12 month guarantee." With the first rain, the gutters still weren't draining properly. I contacted the company immediately but they refused to return and remedy the problem, unless I paid again. Their guarantee says "If your gutters block, leak or overflow within 12 months following a gutter clean or repair by us, we will call back... free of charge."”

We offer 2 levels of service for residential customers, service 1 to empty gutters and down pipes, service 2 to empty and repair gutters and down pipes.
This customer chose the service 1, which is to empty all the gutters and down pipes. Our team arrived to the property carried out the gutter emptying and left.
We are contacted by the customer and told that her gutters were leaking and required a repair and under the guarantee, that we should call back and repair the gutters free of any charge. It was explained to her, that as she had chosen service 1, gutter emptying only, we were not obligated to call back to repair her gutters under the guarantee and she would have to pay for a return to repair the guttering.
It is very clear in the detailed brochure and price list that we send to customers the level of service they will receive and the fixed price they will pay.
