Alin Popa

I have been a brick restorer and pointer for almost twenty years now. I have mainly worked in central London but occasionally in the border counties.

My work is impeccable, with a lot of references and happy clients available as recommendation. I pride myself in delivering a bespoke service. This means a lot of expertise and care goes into deciding what needs to be done not only to perfectly insulate the walls of the property but substantially enhance the appearance, always increasing its value massively.

I have mainly worked and specialised in any type of brick work but occasionally worked in stone, as well. My specialities are: ribbon cut, tuck pointing, weather struck, flash; all with excellent eye for the detail. Over the years, I have developed my own techniques into restoring and extending the life and appearance of bricks.

(texture and colour)

My extensive portfolio covers homes from all British periods including Edwardian, Georgian, Victorian and Tudor but also a major focus of mine was restoring Grade II listed buildings near US Embassy, lime stone pointing in Salisbury Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace tuck pointing on window arches and restoring mouldings and Richmond.

In conclusion, my work ethos is taking pride in the heritage by developing a professional service based on adopting the same materials, tools and techniques to keep with the British heritage.
