“Came out to 'fix' the leak. Assured us it had been fixed. Had a bath and leak happened again and was in fact, worse. Called them out again and said how annoyed we were and unimpressed. Could not find the cause of the leak and said it was something 'quirky'. Recommended that next time we had a bath, we cut a hole ourselves in the ceiling to look - ridiculous! Charged £270 paid in total (we have paid after receiving many rude emails from them) but there is still a leak. Would not recommend them at all. When you ask a plumber to solve the problem, you do not expect the problem to be even worse.”

Response from Christopher Plumbing Services Ltd:
Our first visit was to investigate a leak from the bath. We found that the waste and overflow had been incorrectly installed by the customer's friend, resulting in the reported leak. This was corrected and no leaks were found when tested. The customer was present.
We were asked to return as the customer said there had been another leak. We investigated and tested the same day; the work carried out previously was sound but despite several attempts, with the customer present, we couldn't recreate an active leak. The customer was advised that more intrusive investigation might be needed to locate the source of a second leak, possibly in waste pipes concealed in the floor where easiest access might be via the ceiling below.
No further investigation or remedial work was carried out as the customer had already stated they would not pay for the visit, despite authorising us to proceed. We submitted an invoice for the time spent and had to pursue payment, ultimately suggesting the customer contact Hampshire Trading Standards with their concerns about our service. The customer paid reluctantly but stated they would post a negative review. Sadly, a dissatisfactory outcome for all concerned.
