“CRB Roofing were happy to take my money. But when the leak had not been repaired, the Owner was very aggressive and refused to come out and make good. He made 8 appointments with us to come back out and then failed to turn up for any with no warning. When he did finally come out, he agreed to come back in 2 days to finally fix the roof, but again didn't show up. Didn’t answer his phone or texts and only replied to one email even after Checkatrade tried to assist. Very abusive and rude to my wife on the phone. Saying Women always cause problems when I have to speak to them about roofing issues. He has also refused to give an invoice.”

Response from CRB Roofing:
Originally called to this property as customer said there was a leak in the valley. We took photos of before and after the works had been carried out. The customer was happy with the works and paid in full upon completion. Included in the price was a repair of broken guttering and all the gutter system unblocked and cleaned. Approx. 3 weeks later we had a call to say that there still a leak. We returned and could not find a fault. We offered to come back, asked if the customer would contribute to the scaffolding so we could strip a section of roof free of charge to find the fault which was probably a broken tile somewhere in the main roof area not the valley and the customer declined. I suggested the customer contact 2 other roofing companies to see if they could find the fault and to get back to me. The customer could not understand why I had suggested this. At this point I said I would refund £200 in which the customer declined and wanted at least £400 back.
