(Malcolm's Profile)

I started my building career in 1981 with a Brickwork Apprenticeship undertaking a City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification. When I finished my Apprenticeship, I went on to work for a local building contractor enhancing my brickwork, stonemasonry and flint work skills as well as restoration and heritage work.

In 1990 I started up my own business building commercial, public and private buildings.

In 1999 I decided on a change of career, I wanted to teach students who were the same age as me when I decided to undertake a career in construction.  I became a fully qualified lecturer and have worked in various parts of the country gaining vast teaching skills and experience also keeping up-to-date with Health and Safety and Building Regulations.

I met John, my work partner while working with him at Somerset College. We started working on various projects outside college schedules, undertaking all types of work from single houses builds and extensions from start to finish. We have covered all works mentioned on our website. Having built up an excellent reputation, we decided to put our knowledge and skills together to start our own full-time business.

I have now been working in the construction industry for 37 years and between John and myself have 80 years’ experience.

If you are looking for a building company with vast amounts of experience who can carry out large or small works, then we are a company that you can trust.

Please do not hesitate to contact either myself or John for all your building requirements.
