“I purchased what I believed to be a brand new oven. On closer inspection and prior to using it I removed the base plate to find old grease marks indicating this clearly was not a new oven. I have contacted Dream Doors directly as advised who say the oven was boxed up and they opened it to install it. But they did not look inside. They have agreed to contact the supplier and get back to me. I am waiting to hear. I feel very aggrieved that I have not received what I have paid for and would like a swift outcome.”

Response from Dream Doors (HA):
This issue was only brought out by the customer 2 months after fitting. Their original feedback was 9.8
The oven in question was brand new and direct from the manufacturer.
The oven was in the customer's house for 3 days (in its original packaging) before being unpacked and installed directly into the kitchen.
We have discussed the issue with the manufacturer who advised that a grease like substance was occasionally present at the soldering stage of manufacture.
