By using Environmental Inspection you remove all risk to yourself and others that comes with sampling any suspect Asbestos Containing Materials.
Environmental Inspection can provide Asbestos Management Plans as required by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (Regulation 4.8). Where the assessment shows that asbestos is or is liable to be present in any part of the premises the duty-holder must ensure that;
• a determination of the risk from that asbestos is made;
• a written plan identifying those parts of the premises concerned is prepared; and
• the measures which are to be taken for managing the risk are specified in the written plan.
The duty-holder should ensure that the Asbestos Management Plan is implemented to assist with the long term management of asbestos materials on a site.
Environmental Inspection can undertake a detailed inspection of the system to identify suitable conditions and high-risk locations where there is a possibility of Legionella bacteria could multiplying within a hot and cold water system. The findings of the Legionella risk assessment will be documented in a report clearly presenting the observations and any recommendations if required.
