Common pests for this season are predominately Rodents (Rats, Mice and Squirrels), Moles and the Cluster Fly.

Rats and Mice will come into our houses during the colder months of the year. These rodents can carry several diseases and can cause damage if left un treated.

What is the key to a successful rodent treatment? Envirowell do our very best to find the points of entry in which the rodents are using to enter our properties and can carry out the prevention works to prevent any further infestation reoccurring in the future. This in turn will save you money and minimise the need for control in the long run.

Squirrels can cause a huge amount of damage to our properties in a short period of time. Prevention again is key for preventing reoccurring problems with squirrels and saving you money in the long run.

Moles move around more during the wetter months of the year due to the fact that damp soils will create easier digging and a better structure to the tunnels. Moles can cause a lot of damage to lawns and our gardens causing them to collapse in certain areas the moles have been, or the large mounds of earth they can create.

Cluster Flies over winter in all different voids of buildings, including window frames, eaves spaces and lofts. You may notice increase of numbers when the days are warmer, this will be that the flies are basking to collect as much warmth from the sun. As the name suggests cluster flies cluster together in large numbers.
