Welcome to the site of Flame Guru Ltd.

My name is Darren, I have been in the plumbing & heating industry since the 1980s (That makes me feel so old when I say that – a cliché but so true) I served and completed a JIB indentured plumbing apprenticeship with a local company that has long since gone called J H Fryer Ltd, based in Derby.

I have worked in both the domestic and commercial sectors as a plumber, gas & heating engineer in multiple and diverse roles such as installation, repair, service, maintenance, repair and technical consultation. The types of client are varied ranging from the BBC (Yes, I made it to DIY SOS and not rogue traders –thank you!) to many of the blue-chip FM companies such as Carillion, Mitie, Babcock’s etc., to domestic house holders.  

My experience and knowledge empower Flame Guru to have competency and expertise to provide a range of dependable and trustworthy services to the consumer in regular working hours and in the event of an emergency a positive response through its dedicated reactive service that operates continuously. 

    In terms of conduct, we seek to be “Avant Guarde” with our business model directed in a mission to re-establish consumer service values that are becoming less important in today's world. 

    I believe in the saying “A fairs days’ work for a fair days’ pay” and Flame Guru, will by its consistent adherence to the service pledges as set out below provide a commitment to minimising a negative consumer experience.
