“Made it clear to dean that the existing work was probably not to a professional standard but all I wanted his company to do was make the roof asymmetrical. Dean visited site to take a look. He gave me a price knowing about the existing issues. Job was subbed out to a contractor and workmanship was not upto standard promised. Mis cuts, holes, damage, debts and bodged joints. Mismatched lead flashing. Every excuse was given for this that all lead back to the quality of the existing work. I am still yet to understand why this would be the cause of holes and profiles being cut short.”

Thank you for your feedback. The customer phoned us and asked us if we could finish his roof, he sent through pictures of the roof to price it up but no site visit was carried out as he was not available. When we started this job it was very clear the customer had tried to do this his self and he is not a builder. The roof was in a very bad way and he was advised this when we were on site, we have never seen anything like it. The roof was completed and the customer paid his bill. The customer then started moaning about the work never mind the whole job before us was a mess. I have offered the customer for us to go round there and put this back how we found it. I explained to him you cannot make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear. Everything was explained to the customer more than once and the customer and his wife were walked round the job at the end of it and was happy.
