SaveChoice double and triple glazing windows and doors are amongst the very best in energy rated performance and could save you up to £766 per year on your home heating bills. Not only are they incredibly energy efficient but they’re stylish and durable too.

Energy bills are on the increase, environmental concerns are higher on the agenda than ever before, and building regulations are becoming more demanding every year. Choosing windows and doors that offer better U-values for a lower cost therefore makes good sense.

And the Yale locking system provides peace of mind and security from a known provider.

Guaranteed energy efficiency

All Infinity Home Improvements products are Part L compliant in-line with the amended Building Regulations of 2002 for England and Wales. Part L aims to ensure that almost every window and door installed in houses achieves a better level of heat insulation. It is part of the Government’s strategy to reduce harmful CO2 emissions, 50% of which are generated from heating, lighting and cooling buildings. Performance is measured in terms of “U-value”.

The “U-value” is the unit of measurement for the rate at which heat is lost through a building material. In this instance, we are referring to windows and doors. Building Regulations now stipulate the following performance levels for the entire glazing (glass and frame combined): PVCu / timber frames require a ‘U-value’ of 2.0 W/m²KAluminium / metal frames require a ‘U-value’ of 2.2 W/m²K. Our windows and doors fully comply with these regulations.
