J & B Disaster Management Ltd (the company) was formed on 31st March 2016 in order to purchase the Revival South West franchise based in Gloucester. The core business is centred around disaster restoration and the vast majority of the work comes from within the insurance industry specialising in the High Net Worth (HNW) sector. Leak Detection is another area of our work and we work with our clients in locating, what can be very tricky, leaks within the property or outside with minimal disruption.
The Revival Group is recognised as the market leader in the HNW sector offering unrivalled customer service and quality of work. Our target markets include individuals, insurance companies, loss adjusters, insurance brokers, loss assessors, property management companies amongst others. The market is tough but Revival are already a recognised provider and are always in demand.
Our operational postcodes covered are HR, LD, NP, LF, SA, GL, BS, SN, BA, SP, BH, DT, TA, EX, TQ, PL, TR. We also sporadically cover OX and RG. We are based in Gloucester and also have a unit in Exeter covering these postcodes. All admin and correspondence are carried out in our Gloucester office.
We are a family run business and ethically operate as such. We are passionate about offering exceptional service levels and technical knowledge based around a dedicated training programme.
Barry Helsdown – Worked for 30 years as a firefighter for the emergency services. On retiring developed broad accounting skills and moved on to securing clients for tax returns and company house filing. Has held a Director position for a large medical company before being employed by Revival Head Office in the finance department.
Michael Bosley – 11 years as a technician with Revival, won ‘Revivalist Of The Year Award 2017’ for outstanding contributions and achievements. Highly skilled in all areas from rug cleaning to injection drying. Well known in the local industry for good customer relations and has a real calming influence backed up with high level technical knowledge.
Billy Swann – Highly motivated Technician, Billy is on the path to becoming an excellent ‘all-rounder’. He has a very good knowledge of building construction and has a keen eye for furniture restoration. Has managed and completed several large claims including commercial claims which required almost around the clock attention. Very likeable and really understands what high net worth insurance companies want from a service provider.
Luke Dyer – Also operates out of the Exeter unit. He has been trained to a high standard in a comparatively short amount of time. Has a fantastic working relationship with customers and has completed some complicated claims independently. He has a very keen eye for detail and completes some of our best reports.
Karl Howe & Lucas Morgan – Trainee Technicians. Karl and Lucas joined us last year and have been enrolled into our training programme. Both are showing signs of becoming competent Technicians with support from the entire team.
Katie Helsdown – Contents Manager – Katie manages the contents side of claims. Often develops friendly and helpful relationships with Policy Holders as they can often be more complicated and stressful. Keen eye for quality and has a passion for returning contents in the best condition to Policy Holders.
Chloe Lynch – Senior claims handler. Office based, Chloe overlooks all claims and deals with the majority of correspondence through our office. Understands the needs of the Policy Holder as well as the insurer and has a wide understanding of the insurance industry as a whole coming from a claims background.
Amy Embling – Claims Handler. Office based. One of Amy’s main dedicated roles is updating Policy Holders.
