“My boiler stopped working. They came out and got the boiler working, but it stopped again after a few hours. They returned the next day, and changed a part which they charged me a lot of money for, but again, the boiler stopped working after a couple of hours. When I contacted them for a refund (and to return the expensive part) , they said they would come round to discuss that afternoon, but they didn't turn up, and have since failed to respond to my calls.”

Response from RD Plumbing and Heating:
I attended the customer’s property who has a sabre boiler and the boiler wasn’t coming on at all and it was very cold night. After diagnosis I confirmed that the issue which was an overheated thermostat that needed resetting. I reset the thermostat and the boiler fired up. The pressure continued to rise. I explained to the customer that the expansion vassal needed replacing. It is fitted at the back of the boiler. I also confirmed that there were several leaks and the aluminium condense pipe had a hole. The diverter valve was leaking. The customer said she had no money to replace the boiler and she would be ok with changing just the expansion vassal. We attended again and changed the part and then the pressure stopped rising but after few days the customer send a message saying she wants her money back as she found a boiler finance company.
