“I supplied a new Smeg sink which came with waste kit and fittings, and a Franke tap and tails. My other half left Ricky's workmate to it - we'd used Ricky before and he was great. Came back and kitchen cabinet cross section was ripped out with bolts left hanging where it had been. 2 sink clips were put on here which can't be secured so pointless ripping the cabinet apart, most of the clips are still in the bag. Blamed hole cut in worktop being too big - I could have fixed hole with ply/oak offcuts but I wasn't told. The waste leaks and sink feels unsupported, will all need doing again. £168 wasted”

Response from RCB Plumbing:
We are really sorry to see this review. RCB plumbing make every effort to provide excellent customer service and workmanship. RCB Plumbing accommodated your requirements at very short notice and attended site upon the agreed time. We then informed the customer that the sink hole had been cut too big and were struggling to fit your sink. After persisting we managed to make this work but unfortunately took a bit of time hence the £150 labour charge (for 4 hours work). I fail to see how a kitchen work top can be filled in with ply/oak offcuts and the customers wife was informed, the worktop should of been cut correctly in the first place. All work was checked and tested once complete and if a leak had appeared we would of been happy to re attend and put right but this complaint was the first we knew of any issues. We are happy to discuss further if the customer would like to get in touch.
