Stace Roofing are a family run business partnered by  Greg and Andrew Stace.
They have been working together for 20 years, earning a reputation for quality and thoroughness, giving their customers the best value for money and peace of mind.

Their pledge to honesty, openness and fairness saw them volunteer to be a member of a highly acclaimed membership body.

Stace Roofing are members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors, the biggest roofing industry body in the UK.

Stace Roofing are also  accredited members of the Competent Roofer Scheme authorising them to self certify their roofs. (Read on for more vital information that you need to know on Competent Roofer and informing the authorities about your roofing project.)
Andrew has been in roofing since 1985, starting with his Dad during Summer holidays at the age of 13
Andrew is also a member of the Institute of Roofing.

He formed Stace Roofing when his first child was on the way, and was joined by his brother Greg in 1998.
Together they have built a business based on their classic roof training that was given by various time served tradespeople in prestigious roofing companies such as Sydall’s of Grantham, and Ladderbridge of Loughborough.
Both Andrew and Greg are fully trained in Heritage roof coverings, carrying out works to Swithland Slate, Colly Weston and Handmade tiled roofs.

Stace Roofing never walk away from a problem, they have a full time managed office with a friendly support team run by Andrew’s wife Jane, Greg’s wife Mandie and a very good family Friend Hannah.
Between them the girls make sure that every customer need is fulfilled and that any worries or niggles are ironed out without any stress to the customer at all.

Stace Roofing Areas of work:

  • Pitched Roofs & Flat Roofs
  • New Build & Refurbishments
  • Residential & Commercial
  • Slate & Tile Roofs
  • GRP Fibreglass, Single-Ply, EPDM Rubber Flat Roofs.
  • Liquid Applied Flat Roofs & Gully Repair systems
  • Metal Cladding & Sheeting
  • Lead Work
  • Insurance & Home Buyers Roof Reports

In 2000 the company branched out into Flat Roofing and carefully developed an excellent working process for producing the best quality GRP fiberglass installations.
GRP is a difficult skill to master, to do it properly, the entire scientific process has to run like clockwork. One slip up and the roof is at a considerable risk to fail at some point in its first 5-6 years.
Over the past 18 years, the constant strive for improving quality has paid off, Stace Roofing always challenge anyone to show them a better quality GRP roof than the ones they install.
This didn't go unnoticed, Stace Roofing work for the big housebuilders and NHBC fixing defects on new builds that have been badly installed.

The popular EPDM Rubber  is also a system that is offered by Stace Roofing, again, this was a system fraught with potential disaster but the install teams at Stace Roofing quickly figured out how to overcome the potential problems that a lot of homeowners inherit when having a poor installation carried out on their property by contractors that are less conscientious.

(The typical customer of Stace Roofing is a house-proud professional or retired professional, that values quality over cheapness or risk, investing an average of £5000 on their properties.)

All of the Stace Roofing systems are fully guaranteed:
New tiling & Slating 15 years
GRP Fibreglass 20, 25, 30 Year
EPDM 20 & 25 Year
Single Ply 20 & 25 Year
Any work that falls under the Competent Roofer Scheme also carries a full 10 Year Insurance backed guarantee worth up to £250.
ATTENTION: If you are having more than 50% of your roof replaced or upgraded, you need to either:

  1. Inform your LABC (Local Area Building Control)
  2. Use a Competent Roofer Accredited Contractor

If you do not, you will not get your Part L regulation completion certificate.
