“The company: Mr W Friend: Quoted 4 days to complete, it took 2 half days. Quoted for a skip which was never supplied. Failed to supply a requested materials invoice. Used felt off cuts to patch on the roof to save on materials. The company agreed to rectify the patchwork, removing and relaying the felt within 2 weeks, they missed this deadline. After me having to chase them, the company declared it would only cover up the poor workmanship by laying more felt on felt. I paid £1,800 for a new roof not a patched roof.”

I would like to thank the customer for the feedback. The customer was compensated for the joins in his flat roof which I had done as a good will gesture as over 90% of roofs have joins in them and my company do not patch roofs . I say to all my customers that payment is on completion of work and when the customer is fully satisfied. The customer paid at the end of the job the outstanding balance but if he was not happy with the work carried out at the end we could have had a discussion about it. I am sorry for the experience the customer has had but I’m not prepared to rip up a perfect working roof in which we have had torrential rain since the job in question and has not leaked. I would ask all our customers to take a look at our feedback and see we are a honest and reliable company. I wish the customer all the best.
