Kevin was excellent
Complete re-wire of property, first and second fix
We used AKN for the re-wiring of our house during a complete re-furbishment. I am so glad that we found them - Kevin and Ashley have completed everything we asked for with total professionalism. We have had lots of problems with the other trades during the project, so it has been really refreshing to work with a company that are punctual, polite and work to a high standard. We have been using them for the project for around a year now and I can thoroughly recommend their services.
Installing TT earth rod and new mains cable
This is the third or fourth time I've had Kevin do some electrical work for me and this was by far the lengthiest and most complex as there were neighbours and other contractors to co-ordinate with. Kevin did all he could to minimise the impact on all involved (we had to have mains power off for sections of time over three days). It's always a relief when I know Kevin can tackle the electrical jobs I need doing as he is reliable, thorough, thoughtful, constructive and works through any challenges, tidy and patient explaining everything!
Put new sockets in
Ashley did a great job and went above and beyond. He stayed extra time to swap some of the socket covers over so they matched and carried out a last minute request to remove a fuse spur we had forgotten about. We've used AKN Electrical in the past to fit a new consumer unit too and they did a great job then as well.
To mend an outage at a 1960s flat.
We have used AKN for a fuse box renewal and now this mend in an older property. Kevin is very reasonably priced and we have no hesitation in recommending his work.
Installation of an electric boiler and hot water cylinder. Wiring and fitting an induction hob.
The work was conducted in an efficient and tidy manner. The end result could not be faulted. Will definitely use again when required.
