Glyn promptly responded to our request for a quote, and was able to replace the broken roof tiles within a few days. He was polite, did a good job, and worked quickly and tidily. Job location: SP1An excellent business. Completed 2 jobs for us; one for our builder and one directly for us. Both were on time, very precise and neat and left everything tidy. Introduction was via witnessing similar work on neighbours property. Survey, quote and work all done to timescale with courtesy and professionalism. Glyn inspired trust and confidence from the outset, so much so that I left him with the keys to my property and had the work undertaken whilst i was on holiday. Glyn and Luke were great. They came when they said, were efficient, professional and cleaned up very well. Glyn spotted an extra problem that needed sorting and got to it. Not a lot of experience, but their quote seemed reasonable and there were no extras. Highly recommended. Glyn and Luke did an excellent job demolishing our two chimney stacks and making good on the roof afterwards. The job was tricky as we had solar panels right up to the chimneys. I had such expert efficiency and care from Glyn Baker. He complted the job even earlier than he said. He explained every stage of his work to me daily. His financial care was second to none in that he more or less stuck to the figure of his quote. Baker Roofing have completed two jobs for me. They insulated my porch roof and fixed my leaking garage roof. Both times they've been punctual, gave reasonable quotes and worked efficiently. Glyn fixed a leak in our roof before Xmas and found the underlying battens were failing and the underfelt was coming apart, so in May he came back to remove all the roof tiles, remove and replace the original 1930's horsehair felt and chicken wire and replace with new modern felt then restored the roof. Glyn also replaced our guttering. Replacing the felt was a horribly messy job but Glyn and his team carried out the work with good humour and to a very high quality, We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Baker Roofing is a small but well established local company, that has carried out hundreds of jobs for private customers, builders and estate agents.
I have over 20 years experience in the trade and strongly believe that you should treat other people's property as if its your own.
We try when possible to use local companies for our materials, scaffold, skips etc. as I feel strongly about supporting small businesses.
