Chris was excellent thorough and speedily identified the problem and remedy. He kept to the quote even though there was actually a little more work needed and was very competent tidy and pleasant. I would recommend without hesitation.

Helpful, good communication
The work was carried out under lockdown conditions . Chris made an initial site survey and advised us on how to prepare our flat including social distancing procedures. On the day of the work First Fix arrived on time and and carried out all the necessary work in the space of one day as well as taking time to go through the operation and controls of the new boiler with test demonstrations. They kept and left the flat tidy removing all the old parts and cleaning up afterwards. An excellent service. Thank you.
Our boiler breaking down in the current lockdown was extremely stressful as we did not know when we would be able to get it fixed. Chris was very quick to respond and as people in our flat are in a risk group, he reassured us that he would wear a mask and gloves, would sanitise the work area and equipment, and would keep 2 metres away from anyone in the flat at all times. He assessed the boiler and as it could not be fixed, he quickly arranged for a replacement and installed the boiler within 3 days of it breaking down. Heating and hot water now works very well. Would definitely recommend.
Chris did an excellent job, visiting to make an initial assessment and quote first and then quickly following up to get the (sadly struggling!) boiler up and running again with new parts. He provided clear explanations and was very transparent in his pricing and his view of possible complications. He was easy to get hold of, arrived on time and rang to check in with me when it was clear it would require an hour longer than predicted. Chris is easy to have around, set up and cleared away neatly and I would definitely use him again.

Chris was up and about and answering his phone by 7am when I discovered I had no heating from my Valiant boiler. He said he would manage to visit that day and then texted me the time of his arrival and arrived at that time. He explained the problem to me, sorted it and charged a very reasonable amount. Very professional all round.
