Initially they did a great job and fitted new MDPE pipe in my drive/flat and told me the second half of the job would be very simple. Affinity Water then had to correct some of their original work as they laid the pipe too close to a lampost. GoHeat then said the second half was actually more complex (and expensive), but even though I agreed, my neighbour and I have been waiting for almost 2 months for them to come back and we had been living with a mess. GoHeat kept cancelling several times on the day. We got someone else in the end, who even fixed the bad paving goheat left.
Response from GoHeat Ltd
A blue pipe was fitted from the water meter into the property as agreed. A tail of the new pipe was left next to the existing water meter, property of the water supplier, who ultimately connects the pipe to the meter.Later on the customer asked us to do an extra job and a price was agreed. We were told that we can start the job as the affinity water connected the pipe to the meter. We have attended with a team of 3 people only to find out on the day that we could not start the job as the supplier didn’t finish their job. A different date was agreed but unfortunately on that day was heavy rain. We had to cancel because we needed to dig the soil, use electrical equipment outside and use the mole to run pipes. The customer was supposed to call with another date but we have not heard back. It is sad that the client decided to leave a bad review instead of contacting me to discuss the concerns as we always like to keep customers happy.
