  Darren took pride in his work and explained what he was doing as well as why. He also took some pictures to illustrate the before and after of his work. It was clear the last person to service it didn't do a good job. But Darren did and I would happily recommend. Whilst enquiring about the work, Jamie did a great job of quoting up some options and clearly explaining the various options we had. Start to finish, great work and a pleasure to deal with

• Emergency trace, access and repair on a water leak.

  We had a water leak on the Thursday night. Our insurers were useless and happy to leave us to sort it ourselves. Phoned JPS Saturday morning and Darren came round at lunchtime, traced the leak straight away and fixed it. He also noticed that the stopcock was leaking and sorted that for us too. Very amiable and polite chap so very pleased that he was able to come to the rescue at short notice.

• Underfloor heating - partially working

  The engineer turned up when stated and listened to what the issue was and relevant background (not always the case as often they just jump in). Identified the issue very quickly as an electrical fault, re-wired to a spare terminal and it was working. As a marine engineer, I appreciate that this was actually a difficult to diagnose and there could have been significant work carried out before identifying the issue. So identified, rectified and tested within an hour! JPS plumbing came highly recommended by a friend. Extremely happy!
