No call back
I left a message outlining some work I needed doing asking for a quote and heard nothing back ! I flatly refuse to call back or chase up any company that chooses to ignore an initial approach.... why do they bother to advertise if they don’t want customers? Sorry to be negative guys but this was my experience with them.
Rebuild of partial damage to interior and exterior wall of garage, including replacement door.
After a prompt reply to our initial request, the quotation and subsequent work was carried out efficiently and very much to our satisfaction. We were impressed, not only with the standard of work, but also the friendliness of all staff involved.
Rebuild an extensive boundary wall
Lakeland Building Services were the first to respond to my search for a local builder to rebuild a demolished extensive front wall, gave a very reasonable quote for the works, were able to undertake the works within the very tight timescales I needed (6 days from first phone call to last brick being laid), and got on with things with no fuss and no drama. The finished result is excellent with the new build blending perfectly with what remained of the original wall. I would have no hesitation in using Lakeland Building Services again and recommending them to others.
Renovation and part new build
We have been working with Stephen and Ryan for over 12 years. First met them when we had just bought a 1960's bungalow that required a complete renovation with part of the building being completely renewed. Since that work was completed we have engaged him to build a huge conservatory and lately another new property. All the guys working for Stephen have been curtious and professional. Stephen will help save costs where he can (if we want to) and uses his experience to suggest improvements that look better and save us money. I can recommend these guys everyday of the week.
Garden wall and patio
Excellent service by Ryan, could not fault his work! Ryan has very strong knowledge of the building trade and had taken the time to sit down and talk through our plans and made our vision came to life. Gave us guidance, recommendations and suggestions to even save money. Will be using Lakeland for the foreseeable. Thank you Ryan!
Building stud walls and plastering for our new offices.
We used Lakeland building services to create a new work spaces for our office. They done everything from building the stud walls to the plastering. The plastering itself is the best I've ever seen. A great punch of lads that were highly professional from start to finish. Leaving the area very clean and tidy. I highly recommend them and we will be using them again!
New extension and garden kitchen/patio
