• New roof underfelt fitted and tiles replaced

  The initial task was to fix a leak around a Velux window but as the job progressed it became necessary to replace the entire roofing felt, 3 Velux windows and then re-tile as there was more extensive deterioration of the roofing felt, some loose tiles on the ridge and other damaged or broken tiles. I was away for the duration of the task but was kept informed with photos and video throughout. Neighbours praised the work ethic and skill of the team. As far as it is possible to determine it is reassuring that the roof is now waterproof and the work is guaranteed for 25 years.

  Lee and his team replaced the wonky gutter at the front of my house with a new deep flow gutter. The wooden fascia is in poor condition so they cut some extra wood supports which should ensure that the new gutter won’t slip out of position in future. The gutter has passed its first rain test without any further leaks occurring.

• Gutter repair and clean

  Complete and utter waste of time and highly inconsiderate. Came over and offered a quote, agreed on a date and time. On the date an hour passed, no show, nothing. Called number having not heard anything and spoke to the brother who said he would contact Lee to call me in 10 minutes. Another 45 minutes I get a call back with an elaborate excuse but he would be over in the afternoon. Never heard anything since. We all have busy lives, if you don't want the work just say. Don't bother wasting your time with these people.
