My name is Mike. I have been decorating since 2003, self-employed since 2009 and trading as Phoenix Professional Decorators, solely sourcing my own work (as opposed to subcontracting) since 2016.
Most of my work is private/residential/domestic as well as small shop fits, offices etc.
I generally work on my own, occasionally using other tradesman as needed. This could be decorators to help me, or other trades as instructed by the current client, saving the client time and stress, I have been able to take initiative in acquiring other trades for the intentions of completely refurbishing areas or full houses.
Both interior & exterior works undertaken, from small jobs like soffit & fascia painting to full houses.
I am City & Guilds/NVQ qualified, insured and a member of the "Painting & Decorating Association". This professional body will guarantee my work for 24 months.

Wallpapering with a delicate and almost unmatchable paper.
Excellent. Highly recommended. Mike came around to quote in about 3 days. And then was available a few days later which was great and perhaps a little lucky on our part. Very professional and a superb job. Very friendly too.
Redecoration of lounge - emulsion on ceiling and walls and woodwork in Satinwood
Mike came promptly after being contacted for an estimate and I was surprised that he could supply an emulsion colour that I wanted but which was no longer available on the colour card. On the appointed day he arrived with his colleague and started work immediately. The work was carried out over 3 days, the painters were polite, moved and covered furniture where necessary. There was no mess, no spots of paint where they shouldn't be. When they had finished the floor was vacumed and furniture replaced, I would highly reccomend Mike and his colleagues.

Decorating my bedroom
My name is Jayne I don’t normally do reviews, but the decorator I have just used was so good I had to let others know. My job was a very difficult because I have a Cathedral ceiling. Most decorators would not take on this job because it was so high. This did not phase Mike Price in any way, even though he had to use very high Scaffolding. The standard of his work is so professional and if high standard. The part that make makes this decorator different is his customer service. Nothing is too much trouble and you can call him at any time. You will not be disappointed by using Mike.
Hall , two landings made good and decorated
The brief of the task was to create an impact statement as soon as you entered the home. Micheal listened and quoted to make good the walls, strip and make good all the wood work. This was a big project that took several weeks. A master in his craft, the preparation was detailed thorough and completed to an exceptional standard. All materials used were sympathetic to a 100 year old building, allowing for walls to breath and compensate for any ongoing degradation. Clean tidy, with an attention to detail that matches my wife, the cost is well worth it. Dedicated to a our needs, I recommend him
