  • Complete renovation

    I invited Chris to quote for a basic renovation which he did promptly. The works started on time, but soon I decided that more work was needed to be done. Chris took this in his stride and was able to fit in his workers without holding up my project. We had knocked walls down, rewired the whole house, installed a completely new heating system and new kitchen. It’s very rare and makes a huge difference to be dealing with good, reliable and competent workers. Chris did a first rate job with the minimum of stress. I’m thrilled with the result.

    Chris and his team did a fantastic job of completely renovating my house. The work was of an excellent standard and Chris and his team really cared about the quality and aesthetics of the project - he went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I would have no hesitation in using Chris and his team again to carry out any aspect of building work or renovation. The work he undertook for me included: plumbing, heating, electrical rewire, new bathrooms, redesign and layout change, new flat roofs and roof lights, plastering, flooring, complete decoration and new kitchen.

    This work took longer than originally planned due to a large amount of unexpected work we needed on the outside wall. Chris, Dave and all were brilliant and always gave us fair information about work needed and the pros and cons of proceeding with work. Chris always kept us informed about the work and visited often. Dave and the others were really good, and the level of craftsmanship (in particular, from Dave) was very good indeed. Chris and Dave made some excellent suggestions which made our kitchen and utility even better than we had originally envisioned. In short, they were great!

Our company was established in 2005

We undertake all traditional building work such as extensions, loft conversions, porches, new bathrooms and kitchens (offering a full design service), decoration and general refurbishment.

We also offer a full range landscaping services including garden structures, sheds, brickwork, paths, patios, decking, new lawns and drainage solutions.

Our skilled and experienced team specialise in sympathetic renovation / restoration work on older buildings such as Victorian dwellings, oast houses and in 2020 undertook the renovation of a 150 year old Kentish barn.

At Pring & Frier we pride ourselves on excellent workmanship, attention to detail and delivering value for money for our customers. The majority of our projects are for existing customers and through word of mouth recommendations. Each being assured that they will receive a personalised friendly service supported by many years of experience in the building trade.

We predominantly undertake projects in the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone areas but also take on work in the broader Kent and Sussex area where practicalities allow.
