Company info
The man behind Royal Flush Plumber is 40-year-old Dan Hull, who has lived in Maidenhead with his family since 2008. Formerly an Events professional working on high-profile sporting events, he worked long hours and was often away on business.
"I missed my wife and children and regretted the wasted hours spent commuting every day. Working locally was the answer. As the son of a builder I was really keen to start a vocational career."
Inspired by an excellent plumber and appliance specialist, Dan had long ago realised the value of honest, reliable tradesmen. Following a two-year evening class course at East Berkshire College he achieved his EAL qualification in Plumbing and Heating engineering and was taken on as an apprentice with two well established local firms.
"Learning on the job was fascinating and I quickly built up a portfolio of customers in the area. My wife's pretty gregarious and is forever coming home from the school run and the supermarket check-out with news of someone who has a leaky tap or needs a new bathroom suite. Much more of this and I'll have to hire some assistants!"
Dan is committed to fixed prices, transparency and is VAT free, so people know exactly what the cost will be before work starts. He's punctual, dedicated and the many positive reviews on this site are testimony to the quality of his workmanship.

Fixing toilet and shower
Dan is very professional , trustworthy, efficient and really nice to deal with. Very pragmatic in what can and can’t be done. Really tidy as well ensuring everything left as found and ensuring everything working , as well as making recommendations as needed on other things. Would definitely recommend. Have used on numerous occasions for different things and always really good service.
Replacement of valves on two taps. Securing toilet seat. Quoting for toilet flushing system fix.
Excellent work, carried out efficiently, speedily and in a friendly manner.
Change ball valve on cold storage tank.
Dan arrived promptly. Having identified the source of vibration in the pipework he swiftly replaced the valve. Friendly and efficient.
Sort out blockage under sink. Washing machine, dishwasher and sink not draining. Water on floor.
Dan completely changed the pipe work under my ancient sink. All debris was vacuumed away and the pipes were cleared. He worked very hard and installed a new plug to replace the old rusty one. He worked efficiently and quickly. I was amazed that parts for my sink still existed. Dan tested the dishwasher and washing machine they both emptied freely after completing the job.
Leaking toilet cistern
We are very grateful and pleased with Dan’s work. He is responsive and efficient and gets the job done with minimal fuss. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He has helped us with a few small jobs in the past, and has always been great.
