  Several areas of Damp

  Having found several areas of damp in our rooms we contacted Singleton Brothers to investigate. Mick came and did a thorough inspection and explained it was damp caused by build up of rubble in the cavities, probably caused by a loft conversion we had done several years ago. Dylan and the lads did the work a couple of weeks later. They cleared out the cavities, repointed the gaps, added airbricks and repaired the floor damaged by the damp. They were very hard working and cleared everything up. We wouldn't hesitate to use Singleton Brothers again or recommend to family and friends.

  backyard rendering

  Suspected woodworm problem

  I called singleton bros to inspect our loft and ceilings as i was concerned about small holes appearing where our ceilings meet the eaves of the roof. Mick is very knowledgeable and professional, he arrived promptly with a heads up phone call beforehand. Luckily for us this turns out to be pockets of moisture penetrating filler thats been used by a previous owner. Mick then proceeded to provide advice for us on how to better insulate the property and guided me through some helpful processes. He wasn't pushing us to spend money when we didn't need too. Highly recommend this company.

  Damp in dining room

  Condensation under bedroom window and ceiling.

  A man came round, had a look, very keen, said would provide quote. Waited, contacted three times, never received one, they kept saying would get man to send one. Nothing. If they didn't want to do job should of informed us.

  Damp survey

  Mick carried out a thorough inspection of my property and it was reassuring to find how knowledgeable he is about the cause of damp issues and the build of my house which is 1930s. Mick thoroughly investigated a cramped and dirty subfloor and nothing was too much trouble in his determination and enthusiasm to cover all potential factors that could inform and lead to him identifying resolutions. Mick is a gem and since his visit he has offered further advice and even a visit on a Sunday to provide further evidence of drainage issues - Priceless service, thanks Mick.
