• Central heating/boiler diagnosis and reset

  Very professional, friendly, and honest local plumbers. I used Altrincham Plumbing and Heating (APH) in a case of emergency and I found them through an online, 'broker' company. Lewis visited within 30 minutes and helped me diagnose the problems and reset the system. He was very professionally and friendly. There was some miscommunication due to the broker company involvement but as soon as I raised the issue to APH, they responded very quickly and addressed my concerns. I want to thank Lewis for his service and Tom for responding to my queries so quickly and addressing my concerns!

• Bathroom Leak

  The plumber turned up 3 hours late, when the plumber came to look at our bathroom leak , he only looked under the bath and said it was the sealant and the shower screen that is causing the leak. Did not look any further. When he finished the job, he mentioned about the extra £50 call out fee, which was not mentioned on the phone call before. It cost us more than what was expected. We also had no invoice after the works were done. Days later, the leak got worse, we found out it was a burst toilet pipe and all of our plywood flooring was rotted. Over paid and poor service. Never use again.

• Fixed a broken toilet valve

  The plumber was courteous and completed the work. We are extremely upset at the hidden cost of this company, which was not conveyed to us when booking. We were advised on a call out fee of £75 but then were unprepared for the final cost of £444! You will be shocked at what the cost was for- my mum paid for a repair of a toilet valve! We could understand £100 but £444!?. There was no opportunity to challenge this and no mention of costs at the outset. Avoid this company; in fact avoid any company that offers emergency repair. My mum has lost a significant amount of her savings

  I would recommend Tom very highly I described the problem to him straightaway and he mended the problem in no time callout was very late as he had other emergencies but he did the job very well I would recommend this company although the price was high it was understandable as we needed it fixing promptly .   I can’t recommend Tom and Alex from Altrincham Plumbing enough. Two very smart and respectful young men. They were very reassuring, quickly found the fault, got a spare part immediately and installed it for us - no fuss - no mess. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Guys - would recommend you to anyone and they are returning very soon to fit a new sink and washing machine for us.
