Rang Steve on the Wednesday , came out in the afternoon to give quote. Work arranged to be carried out the next day . Turned up on time. Kept us informed of what they were doing to make sure we were happy. Very polite, friendly and cleaned up well after them. They team were reliable, arrived when they said they would. Gave great advice about the issues with a damaged/diseased tree and also listened to my concerns about how much height would have to be taken off the tree. They are clearly are very expereinced on how to handle and deal with big trees. Everywhere was left clean and tidy and all the team worked effectively to do a great job. We have been experiencing nuisance from a large unmaintained tree in a neighbour's garden the branches extended over 4 metres into our garden dropping cones and needles into our pond and potentially endangering our summer house. Letters sent via the agent to the neighbour's absentee landlord had met with no response. I contacted Steve who gave accurate advice on the law and the solution. He drastically pruned the tree removing several very thick boughs and removed all the mess. Promptly came to do the job, good price. All branches and leaves were nicely cleared away. But where they removed a stump the earth was not moved back to at least partly fill the hole. The works was done quickly and well, and all the (large) amount of wood and branches that were taken down were chipped and taken away.
