• Poor workmanship on every job, fixing hanging tiles, pvc cladding and fibreglass roofing

  Ben and his team had to change the rotten battens under the two strips of hanging tiles on the facia.They fit a thicker batten than the original beside a window that was resulting in the tiles overlapped the window frame& window was catching the tiles when opened, then they sand down the tiles!!! On the other side the loose and fallen tiles fixed by silicon? The wooden cladding around the top of the house replaced by PVC however, on every joint the workmanship was a disaster. Some of the cladding’s fitted upside down despite of redoing it &The fibreglass work on the balcony not levelled properly

  Attended promptly to secure a loose tile that was above a glass conservatory roof, for which we were very grateful. Also conducted survey of roof condition and quoted for moss removal and another small repair that was less urgent.

• Re-roof and new guttering and fascias

  This company were keen to do the work on my house, but in the end I ended up over £400 out of pocket for my house alarm being damaged when they ripped the tiles off my roof. Ben said "don't worry my insurance will cover that"! Never had a penny back from him despite promises, emails and phone calls. My property was unalarmed for 3 weeks awaiting repairs and then I ended up paying for their damage. Also the new guttering put on mine and a joining neighbours house leaks every time it rains water gushes down the fronts of our houses. Roof looks good, very expensive though. Would not recommend.

• Get all paperwork before you pay

  Work ethic of team on the roof was excellent. Job was in response to a leak so began ahead of paperwork. However, no paperwork provided during the work - only emails with items not costed. They were happy to start work ahead of payment - then phoned on Friday afternoon to request transfer ("I'm in the queue at the Bank") which turned out to be into a personal, not business account. Was promised guarantee and invoice on payment of balance. Have chased but nothing sent.
