Canopy Tree Services was started in 2004 by Ben Edmonds and Steven Barker.
Ben was a secondary school science teacher with a degree in ecology. He passed a tree surgery course with distinction at Plumpton college in 2001 and was awarded technicians status from The Arboricultural Association in 2009.
Steve was a dairy farmer for 20 years and moved full time into arboriculture in 2004. He has extensive experience and varied skills obtained from his time at agricultural college and a lifetime working on a farm. In 2004 he obtained his relevant NPTC chainsaw and tree climbing qualifications.
Our teams of tree surgeons are fully certified with many years of experience and are all fully insured. We care about trees and will recommend the best works for you and your trees. We have very high standards both in the quality of our work and health and safety.

Removal of a huge cedar tree
The team from Canopy arrived early and got to work straight away. The tree branches were removed and shredded and the trunk cut down. The new stump grinder made short work of the 60cm diameter stump. Great job, minimal mess and tidy finish. Big thank you to the guys for a great job + Good price = happy customer.
