  Job incomplete, poor communication and customer service

  Having showed Richard what I wanted doing in Sept 25, his quote lacked detail so after clarification I gave him the job. The Job included repoint 2 side walls, bay window, chimney, flaunching, a new cowl and colour match red fetcher brickwork to front and sides including windows. 3 front windows were not done and he said he would do them on at least 4 occasions. He now maintains that they weren’t included but email and WhatsApp messages show they were. I last contacted him Feb 26 to finish the job and have heard nothing. I am very disappointed with his attitude and will not use him again.

  Bathroom, toilet and hallway work

  Not content with giving our kitchen a make-over, Richard returned a few months later to covert our stylish (not), 1957 looking bathroom and toilet. Both rooms turned into up-to-date spaces to make you smile. The hallway flooring look great too. Good job Richard, thanks for your reliability. Oh and thanks for the off-cuts of wood, I managed to do an extra airing cupboard shelf with them.

  Friendly and reliable company

  Elmer Building Services were friendly and reliable. They were knowledgeable about all subjects that I asked and answered all my questions relating to the work I wanted carried out. They did the work efficiently and effectively and I am very happy with the end results. I would strongly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

  Great quality service for all sorts of internal and external building needs.

  We have used Richard from Elmer Building Services many times including installing a new kitchen a few years ago and this month a new downstairs cloakroom / shower room. So helpful in advising what we needed, then purchased what we wanted and delivered and installed as and when needed - so we did not have rooms full of stuff! Richard also did all of the work - new ceiling, painting, tiling, plumbing, installing new kit and finishing off - a lovely job and so pleased. Great attention to detail and works around any problems he comes across. Highly recommended.

  Thank you for our bedroom

  Richard did a superb job of plastering, decorating, fitting a built in wardrobe and organising for our electrics to be done. He helped with ideas and designs. Our room looks stylish and cosy and we couldn’t be happier! We would highly recommend Richard.

  Is this really our kitchen, (wow).

  Richard followed up his good work of chimney and chimney breast removal in our kitchen, with a transformation of a 'kitchen from the Dark ages', to a beautiful modern kitchen. His attention to detail and reliability, along with his knowledgeable suggestions were much appreciated, (great work also by Tom). Hopefully we will be having him back to do our bathroom and toilet when we see his quote.
