  Five Star Roofing came to fix my guttering. They were responsive and well mannered, but on the day only one person came to fix what was clearly a two person job. The scope of the job then increased and I was asked to pay more money, which in hindsight meant I overpaid for the work. They were rushing to clear up and leave the job. I was asked to pay the full amount on the day with an invoice to follow. This never came and they have not answered my calls or texts since they left the job

  Billy arrived to estimate the cost of the work on the afternoon agreed. He was polite and gave me a price for the work straight away. It involved erecting a tower scaffold to the front of the house and fitting a new joint where gutter damaged, end cap to the right hand side and remaking a leaking joint over the front door. The scaffolder arrived on the morning agreed and Billy came to carry out the work two days later as agreed. The scaffold was taken down again within two days. All went well and I was pleased that this company was so reliable. I would certainly recommend them.

  The company came to reattach a downpipe and to ensure any detachment didn't reoccur. They had initially planned to attach a bracket but encountered a problem during the job so came up with an alternative way of securing the pipe. The company was punctual, tidy and polite and explained what they were doing. We wouldn't hesitate to employ them again.
