• Dish washer repair Miele

  After reading several good reviews we thought Glotech repairs would be a good choice to look at an F25 fault on our Miele G7102 Dishwasher. It had given us excellent results on daily use over the last 30 months. We gave all the appropriate fault code make/model/serial number data to the call centre when making the booking, so we expected a good outcome from the visit. The Glotech technician attended on the day and at the time agreed, however he readily admitted that he had never seen a "Miele Dishwasher and really didn't have a clue". • No show,no repairs

  Fourth call out for repairs to a dishwasher that they have never successfully repaired. Three times an engineer has failed to turn up on the day,each time costing me an expensive day's holiday. No record of any job booked in today despite two separate Glotech agents telling me my appointment was today, one as recently as Tuesday. When I ask to speak to a manager, I'm told that there isn't one available until Monday. Between loss of earnings and the cost of the plan I could have bought two new dishwashers instead.

• Replacement fridge

  Engineer said it would be cheaper to replace my fridge than fix it. A phone call from Glotech later that day told me they had the same fridge in stock. I arranged for it to be fitted. Not only does the new fridge have one door shelf and inside shelf but it is damaged. Email after email from me have been ignored.

• Do not waste your money

  They booked a wine cooler repair with no contact to talk about the problem. Repairer did nothing and said coolers are rarely repairable. Charged £99 for call out. Complete waste of money

• Washer dryer repair

  I took out a 'repair and protect' policy with them for an appliance for 12 month. I never received details of the policy, only DD instructions. They did the repair and started to draw the DD. Recently I suspected that the policy should have ended a while ago. In fact they drew the money for a further 10 months. No renewal notification, nothing. I just called and asked for my money back. She refused saying it was in the T&C's that they draw money until I cancel. What?!?!!  All normal insurance companies send renewals after 12 months.
