Godfrey and Lappage Services Limited were formed in 1997 by Alan Godfrey and Mark Lappage and since entering this trade, Alan and Mark have now amassed just over seventy years of combined experience between them both. Godfrey Lappage is a friendly family run business with family members and friends joining the ever-growing team over our twenty three-year growth and have built up a fantastic team in all areas of the commercial refrigeration and air conditioning industry and the residential air conditioning industry. 

We can provide full design, sales, service, installation and planned preventive maintenance to the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade. We can also offer full equipment asset management with our bespoke service data program system. Godfrey Lappage take Health and Safety very seriously which is why we run our company on our very own GL GOLD Zero Tolerance Policy.

Our aim is to provide every one of our client’s and any new client an excellent, reliable, and efficient service and to be TOTALLY HONEST with our advice. Our company has always had a very good reputation within this trade which we aim to keep and to improve to even higher levels. Our objective is to provide our clients with a quality service level, so their equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, and to provide these services through innovation and all the latest technology. All the latest equipment and software that we have invested in means we can offer fast turnaround times from an initial call out to the completion of any works to reduce any down time to a minimum. We fully understand the importance of our client’s equipment and the importance of monitoring, controlling, and managing all energy, temperature, and refrigerant measurements to keep financial costs and the carbon footprint to a minimum.


Our sales department at Godfrey Lappage can offer our clients and future clients a quality service that we are known for. A professional delivery of sale will be achieved, from the smallest of projects or single piece of equipment up to large projects from CAD drawing and design through to the completion and commissioning stage. Our sales team will guide clients through every step of their desired blueprint so we can take the worry and stress away from them, so their time and effort can be put into all other important factors of their proposed development. Our honest and caring team strive for perfection to the very smallest of details to keep in line with our drive for an unparalleled quality-controlled service level. From a single air conditioning heat pump system in a bedroom to a full office heat pump refit, we would deal with the project in the same professional way.


Our service department is built around our reactive help desk which is supported by our heavily invested database and asset management system. Our polite and helpful reactive help desk team are on hand and ready to take all enquiries and to offer full support and back up to maximise our clients’ needs and expectations. Godfrey Lappage fully appreciate our client’s commitment in providing their customers the service for which they have set out to offer. It is therefore essential that Godfrey Lappage, their maintenance, and service provider can offer 100% dedication which is critical in today's fast paced market. Our 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year reactive service cover which is always contactable provides our clients with total peace of mind. We fully understand the importance and sensitivity of current legislation and regulations at individual sites, and with our flexible service and office team, anything is possible with regards to risk assessments, method statements and other permit systems. Our engineers are fully trained and are also kept up to date with manufacturers latest training programmes.


Here at Godfrey Lappage, we fully understand and promote Planned Preventive Maintenance Contracts for all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. We strongly believe in the importance of offering our large diverse client base various options of PPM contracts to suit all individual and specific needs and requirements. Our engineers are taught and guided, to understand the importance of an honest, reliable, professional, and efficient service to ensure our clients equipment operates to the full potential throughout its life span. This in turn allows our clients to provide their service to the maximum level without any worry of equipment failure as well as minimising equipment running times and in turn running costs.
