Gutter Cleaning / Gutter Clearance should be carried out on a yearly basis, this helps prevent blockages in the down pipe and excess weight in the gutter system itself. To much debris within the guttering can cause stress on the fascia brackets leading to bad alignment issues and even collapse. Guttertek clean all gutters by hand, this enables us to remove all the debris and clear any blockages within the down pipes. Faulty alignment or faults with the gutter system are always reported back and can usually be fixed on site as most parts are carried in the vans. General gutter maintenance will always help with the lifespan of the gutter system.

Gutter Repairs can usually be made on site, we carry a large selection of parts for most makes of guttering, if parts need to be ordered then this is done instantly so no need for long waits, this is vital when water is running down exterior walls. Temporary repairs can usually be made whilst waiting for delivery on specialist parts.

Gutter Installation can be quoted for once a free site visit has been made, prior to any installation fascia boards must be checked to ensure there is no rotting and they can withstand the weight of a new gutter system. If rotting is evident then we will advise accordingly. Repairs or new fascia boards can be installed. Guttertek can also apply two coats of paint to wooden fascia board prior to installation if required, this is highly recommended if you are not having uPVC installed. The benefit of having the fascia painted at this stage is because the guttering will be removed and so the whole fascia board will be protected. A quote can then be sent via email for your consideration.

uPVC Fascia and Soffit Installation will also require a free site survey, this is to determine the exact sizes and parts required and to check the condition of the original fascia and soffit boards. If the boards are solid then 9mm capping boards can be used, this is the cheapest option which gives exactly the same look, however if the fascia boards have started to rot then they may need to come out and 18mm Fascia boards installed. This will usually require a scaffold as roof tiles may also need to be removed to allow for the installation. The roof tiles will be replaced once installation is complete.
