We at J.A.T Developments Limited are a father and Son family run building company.
We have 30 years of experience in the trade.
We are a turnkey operation from start to finish and cover all aspects of the trade. We have our own roofers, plumbers, joiners, kitchen fitters, tilers and we like to keep everything in house.
We build extensions to barn conversions, new builds, loft conversions, general building projects, steel works, general renovations, architects, and structural engineers.
We use our knowledge to give guidance to customers who are new to projects, we supply contract of works and payment schedules/weekly schedules.

Supporting wall removed and a beam fitted.
Alex and his team were fantastic from start to finish. They arrive when they say they will do and they clean up after they have finished each day. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again in the future.
Underpinning a garage and taking out wooden garage floor and putting in a concrete floor
Alex and his team were able to start the job with very short notice given. Fixed price and schedule of payments agreed. Work completed to a high standard and they actually resolved a couple of other issues while there. Would use again and would recommend to others.
Replace lintel, repointing and replacing defective brickwork
A tidy, friendly team who carried out the work in a manner which inspired confidence in the company. They tided up after they had completed every day. The only hiccup wasn't due to them but was caused by a third party sub contractor letting them down, they recovered well. Gave a believable timeframe for the works needed.

Brilliant quality of work and understanding of construction techniques and solutions to small problems on site.
Quotation provided for Insurance work
Alex came out on time, to one of my commercial properties, that required extensive replacement work to suspended ceilings on 3 floors. He was professional and knowledeable. The quote provided was extremely comprehensive . As I had to provide the insurance company with 2 quotes, unfortunately, on this occasion, JAT Developments was not chosen. However, I would have absolutely no issues with using this company for any future work.
10m x 3m extension
AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs! Builders took our money and left the job unfinished. We now have to find further funds to complete the appalling and shoddy work carried out. All new plaster has come crashing down and the whole project has been left in an awful mess, to the disbelief of every professional that has witnessed it. Doubtful that the above reviews are true and legitimate. We unfortunately are not the only ones to have suffered, other clients have also been recently ripped off. Alex Tomlinson who heads the operation is a very dishonest and unpleasant man to deal with.
