JLB Home Improvements are a small team of time served decorators with over 16 years’ experience in the industry.
Between us we have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of decorating taking on all interior & exterior projects including all wall coverings from wallpaper to murals to a more bespoke feature walls if required, along with the application of all emulsions, stains, varnishes, water or oil based finish for all woodwork.
Preparation is the key and this is where our knowledge and experience along with the correct product choice provides the customer with a flawless finish.
We use a completely dust free sanding system to ensure any mess is kept to an absolute minimum.
We are punctual, clean and tidy and meticulous about what we do and take great pride in our work.

Stripping off existing wall paper from a large chimney breast and the two adjoining walls at the sid
Chris did a very good job on what was a difficult surface as there were damp patches in some places. He is open to discussion as to the best way forward and listened to our concerns and questions and made helpful suggestions.

Chris is a brilliant character with great attention to detail. His work is of a high standard and he works in a very tidy manner throughout the job. We have have since asked Chris to decorate the rest of the house, as we were very pleased with his work ethic and passion! You will not regret having Chris quote and complete your works.
Wallpaper remove and re-apply.
Chris was extremely helpful and Knowledgeable. We unfortunately had some wallpaper put up and damaged which was for a nursery. Chris was able to quickly accommodate a visit to assess. Once Chris had understood the work that needed to be done to re-do the job he was clearly explained to us and gave us confidence in what needed to be done. He booked us in at his earliest opportunity which we really appreciated. Chris is extremely professional and friendly and did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the result and would highly recommend Chris and welcome him back for any future decorating.

Paper line main bedroom, caulking and painting ceiling.
Another great job done by Chris, finished to a high standard and worked over the bank holiday to achieve this so I could be in the house as currently settling my cats into out new home. Chris was also great with this aspect and ensured my cats didn’t get outside. Will definitely be using Chris again to do my hall, stairs and landing. Thank you.
Wall mural
We found JLB Homeimprovements through a search and based on Chris’s reviews and expertise we invited Chris to quote for installing a very expensive wall mural for our premises.Upon meeting Chris and talking through the installation he was hired and even though we was on a very tight schedule due to an opening of our premises Chris found a way to fit us in and the results are absolutely brilliant,we are so pleased!
