Jordan did an excellent job capping off my chimney with chimney caps. His communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. As I wasn’t home, I entrusted him with my lockbox keys. To reassure me, he FaceTimed while opening the lockbox and entering the house, locking the door behind him. He even showed me on the video call, posting the key through the letterbox, which gave me peace of mind. He was proactive, trustworthy, and resolved the serious issue of water leaking through the chimney into the house. We had an issue with our chimney causing rainwater to drip into the fireplace, JPD arranged to visit us the following morning (New Year's Eve), Jordan arrived on time, inspected the chimney and identified the flaunching was cracked and crumbling, he also pointed out a cracked roof tile. Tried several companies before going on Checkatrade and no one proceeded to quote. Jordan and team came and reviewed the job and gave a quote that was followed up by email. They agreed a date and came as arranged complete with all necessary equipment and finished the job on time. Jordan's company was responsive, communicative and reliable, which puts them above many more unprofessional traders not listed on this website. He did the work quickly and to a good standard, and adjusted the job according to site conditions and was open about what could and what could not be done. Would definitely use again. Mr Duxbury claimed he knew the cause of the leak so we agreed to the following work: Take off 6 ridges, re-bed & repoint ridges, & repoint both little valley Main valley roof: Take out old mortar from failed valleys, repoint valleys & change broken tiles. He asked for full payment within 1 day of the work. He returned 2 further times as the roof still leaked. He mainly added more cement. 6 months later: roof still leaks in same place. It has been reinspected by another roofer and we've seen photographic evidence of multiple broken tiles, tape stuck to roof & ridge tiles that still leaks.Verified reviewerJob location: PR7
